Industrial Thermometers
Compact and modular industrial thermometers for reliable and accurate temperature measurement for a variety of industrial applications.
Industrial Thermometers
Industrial thermometers are configurable temperature measuring assemblies intended for broad process duties, combining sensor design choices, mechanical protection, connection housings, and transmitter integration to match the measuring point. Configuration flexibility can include different sensor designs, thermowells, connection heads, and the full portfolio of temperature transmitters, enabling an optimized fit across diverse industrial services.
A modular approach is frequently used to standardize mechanical platforms while allowing variation in wetted materials, process connections, insertion lengths, and sensor technologies (RTD or thermocouple). This supports both direct-contact measurement and protected measurement using thermowells, depending on velocity, pressure, corrosion, and mechanical stress factors. The result is a scalable temperature solution that can be replicated across units without sacrificing application specificity.
Value is delivered through adaptability and lifecycle efficiency. Modular thermometer families emphasize meeting a wide range of requirements with a manageable product set and can incorporate design features intended to increase process efficiency and plant safety (for example, sealing concepts and quick-release mechanical designs for easier recalibration). International certifications and approvals complement the offering for hazardous or regulated environments.
Industrial thermometers are typically paired with head, field, or DIN-rail transmitters to provide standardized outputs and diagnostics, and they can be engineered for harsh ambient conditions with appropriate ingress protection, vibration resistance, and cable entry choices. When used with thermowells, replaceable inserts enable sensor maintenance without opening the process, improving maintainability in continuous operations.
Common applications include temperature measurement in chemical reactors, pipelines, distillation and separation equipment, heat exchangers, utility systems, and power generation assets. They are used wherever temperature drives control, equipment protection, energy efficiency, or product quality, and where rugged construction and configurable interfaces are required to match the process envelope.
